T3 Body
 

    The T3 shape is the smallest body we build. Though both the guitars pictured on this page have chambered bodies, I wanted to build something that could use heavier wood without getting too heavy overall.
    At left is an T3 with a plum pudding mahogany top with a spalted maple strip. (This also appears as the right-hand guitar in the photo below.) The back is walnut with a core of quartersawn maple and walnut. The pickup is NOS Bill Lawrence (an old X500?) that is splittable. The neck is maple with an ebony fingerboard.
 

   This photo shows the T3 pictured above on the right. The guitar on the left has a bubinga top with a curly maple and padouk strip. The back is walnut with a quartersawn core of maple. The neck is maple with an ebony fingerboard.
