SC Body
Our SC design does look a bit familiar; imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Our SCs are chambered to reduce weight and increase top vibration.
Pictured at left is a bookmatched curly ash top with a butternut back (with a core of quartersawn maple, cherry, and walnut). Those are three calibrated Duncan SP-90s, and it is wired in S-style. The Tune-o-matic bridge sends the strings through the body. The neck is maple and the fingerboard is ebony.
The picture at right is a bookmatched Zircote top with a strip of maple and padouk. The trim is maple. The back is walnut with a quartersawn core of maple and poplar. It is wired with Lace Sensors. I like this guitar so much that it isn't for sale (yet).
Other SCs in stock are 1) a bookmatched, quartersawn spalted sycamore top with two P-100s, 2) a bookmatched birdseye maple with two EMG humbuckers (which appears on the T.P. Noble main page ).
