Every T.P. Noble guitar starts out being a piece of wood, or a select pile of wood.
Wood is nothing but soil, light, water, and magic. What better four elements could there be for the foundation of musical tone?
Muddy Waters said, "If you've got to have big amplifiers and wah-wahs and equipment to make a guitar say different things, well, hell, you can't play no blues."
At T.P. Noble, we believe that everything about guitars should be high quality and . . . fun. Yeah, fun. A lot of players develop ulcers questing for perfect tone, perfect set-ups, perfect perfection. Sometimes the overriding reason for all this gets lost, and they just end up with perfect ulcers.
Great tone is born of the soul and the fingers, working in sync. The right guitar and the right amplifier certainly help; but no guitarist of lasting positive influence ever relied on technology alone. All T.P. Noble guitars are built to eliminate the obstacles between soul and sound. Gadgets can be added to, but not substituted for, a top quality guitar.
I don't care much for guitars that come with owners manuals. I want to plug in and GO!
Guitars should sound great, play like a dream, and be as good looking as a butterfly on a daylily in the Garden of Eden. We build these qualities into every guitar, and we will continue to do so, one guitar at a time.
